Job summary

Prysmian in Oman is seeking an operator for wire drawing machines. The successful candidate will attend daily meetings for task allocation and inspect machines to ensure quality specifications.

This role requires secondary education and 1 to 2 years of related experience, focusing on machine operation and fault reporting. Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively regarding maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Experience operating wire drawing machines for 1 to 2 years.
• Ability to inspect machines and report faults.

Responsibilities

• Attend the daily meeting with the supervisor for allocation of tasks.
• Inspect machines on a daily basis to check the specifics of the raw materials.
• Check the mandate to ensure the orders are as per specifications in the machine.
• Update the machine faults, if any, in the MES system.
• Communicate with the supervisor if the machine needs maintenance.
