Job summary

Nama Dhofar Services Company is seeking a Chief Operations Officer for Water & Wastewater to lead strategy, operations, and asset management across the water network. You will drive performance, safety, and regulatory compliance while shaping long-term growth and capital plans.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in utilities, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering operational excellence in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• At least 13 years of relevant experience in planning, projects, operations, maintenance in utilities or industrial environment.
• 6 years managerial experience, with 3 in a senior leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Set the business direction and vision for water & wastewater with senior leadership.
• Provide leadership in development and implementation of strategies, programs, policies, decisions, assignments and activities of water & wastewater operations, maintenance, projects and asset management.
• Define and develop the Project Management strategy for the organization that supports and enables the achievement of overall objectives.
• Oversee the operations of water & wastewater sectors and make necessary improvements to meet business goals.
• Lead cost optimization initiatives and oversee capital plan alignment with budget and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee risk assessment of operations and maintenance systems and guide risk management recommendations.
