Job summary

Oman Investment Authority seeks a Vessel Operations Planner to optimize berth, yard and gate movements for Imports, Exports and Transshipment, with emphasis on safety and efficiency. You will prepare load/discharge plans, coordinate with vessel agents, prepare documentation using JMT, and monitor real-time yard performance to maximize productivity.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Port and Ship Management or related field and at least 3 years of planning experience in a multi-purpose port or

Qualifications

• 3+ years of planning cargo/containers for ports or terminals.
• Experience in vessel discharge/load planning and yard optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop vessel berth, yard and gate plans for Imports, Exports and Transshipment.
• Coordinate with vessel agents and operate planning boards to ensure schedules.
• Prepare and validate discharge/load documentation and stowage plans.
