Detailed Job Description

As a VAS Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing key VAS platforms within a large‑scale telecom environment. You will work closely with Core, IP, Transmission, and IT teams to ensure service reliability, KPI compliance, and enhanced customer experience. The role involves deep performance analysis, root cause troubleshooting, and capacity planning based on traffic trends. You will also contribute to performance reporting, dashboard development, and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze VAS platform performance, ensuring KPI/KQI compliance
• Troubleshoot service issues and perform root cause analysis for performance degradations
• Optimize platforms including USSD, MCN, VMS, RBT, SMSC, Anti‑Spam, MMSC, and MCC
• Conduct capacity planning, traffic analysis, and performance tuning
• Develop performance reports, dashboards, and analytics use cases
• Collaborate with Core, IP, Transmission, IT, FO/BO, vendors, and customer teams
• Support automation initiatives to enhance monitoring and performance visibility

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience in telecom VAS performance and operations
