Job summary

IDC Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Enterprise / Solution Architect to lead telecom digital transformation, enterprise architecture programs, and presales engagements in Oman. The role requires deep telecom BSS/OSS knowledge, cloud-native transformation, and governance to guide architecture roadmaps and modernization efforts.

The candidate will design end-to-end architectures across telecom platforms, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive cloud adoption and service modernization

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture in telecom.
• Experience in presales engagements and architecture governance.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise and solution architectures aligned with business and transformation objectives.
• Lead presales activities including solution development, technical presentations, workshops, and proposals.
• Design cloud-native architectures using microservices, containers, and modern integration frameworks.
• Architect API-driven ecosystems and integration platforms for telecom digital channels.
• Develop target-state architecture models, transformation roadmaps, and technology strategies.
• Provide governance to ensure adherence to architecture standards.
• Design OSS/BSS solutions including order management, product catalog, billing, and service assurance.
• Support cloud transformation initiatives across AWS, Oracle Cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Implement event-driven architectures and middleware integration frameworks.
• Define security architectures with IAM, API security, and Zero Trust principles.
• Evaluate AI and Generative AI opportunities for business innovation.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, operations, and delivery teams.
