IDC Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Enterprise / Solution Architect to lead telecom digital transformation, enterprise architecture programs, and presales engagements in Oman. The role requires deep telecom BSS/OSS knowledge, cloud-native transformation, and governance to guide architecture roadmaps and modernization efforts.

The candidate will design end-to-end architectures across telecom platforms, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive cloud adoption and service modernization

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture in telecom.

• Define enterprise and solution architectures aligned with business and transformation objectives.

Detailed Job Description

As an Enterprise / Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and governing end-to-end technology architectures across telecommunications digital platforms and enterprise transformation programs. You will work closely with business stakeholders, customers, presales teams, and delivery organizations to define target-state architectures, technology roadmaps, and modernization strategies. The role requires deep expertise in telecom BSS/OSS ecosystems, cloud-native architectures, API integration, microservices, and digital customer channels. You will provide architecture governance, support complex solution proposals, and guide organizations through cloud adoption, service modernization, and digital transformation initiatives. This position is ideal for a senior architecture professional with strong telecom domain expertise and the ability to bridge business objectives with technology innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Define enterprise and solution architectures aligned with business and digital transformation objectives.
• Lead presales activities including solution development, technical presentations, workshops, and proposal creation.
• Design cloud-native architectures using microservices, containerization, and modern integration frameworks.
• Architect API-driven ecosystems and integration platforms supporting telecom digital channels.
• Develop target-state architecture models, transformation roadmaps, and technology strategies.

• Design and optimize OSS/BSS solutions including order management, product catalog, billing, and service assurance systems.
• Support cloud transformation initiatives across AWS, Oracle Cloud, and hybrid environments.

• Define security architectures incorporating IAM, API security, and Zero Trust principles.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Telecom Technology Consulting.
• Proven hands-on experience in Enterprise Architecture and Presales engagements.
• Strong experience with API development, API integration, and microservices architectures.
• Deep understanding of telecom digital channels and customer engagement platforms.
• Knowledge of TM Forum eTOM frameworks and Open APIs.
• Experience with Order Management, Product Catalogue, Billing, and Service Assurance platforms.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Oracle Cloud, and cloud-native technologies.
• Hands-on experience with containers, Kubernetes, microservices, and service mesh architectures.
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), API security, and Zero Trust frameworks.
• Experience designing middleware and event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in architecture governance, target-state design, and enterprise transformation roadmaps.
• Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI technologies.
• Strong telecom domain knowledge across OSS, BSS, digital transformation, and service delivery ecosystems.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and consulting skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with TM Forum Open Digital Architecture (ODA).
• TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.
• Knowledge of 5G Core, Network APIs, and telecom cloud platforms.
