Job description

The Technical Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting flyadeal's Engineering and Operations teams by sourcing and procuring aircraft spare parts, technical services, and maintenance-related requirements. The role ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement activities while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting operational continuity across the airline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement of aircraft spare parts, components, tools, equipment, and technical services required to support operational and maintenance activities.
  • Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers in accordance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
  • Obtain and analyze quotations to ensure the best balance between cost, quality, delivery timelines, and operational requirements.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders while ensuring compliance with approved procurement procedures and delegated authority limits.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Finance, Stores, and other stakeholders to ensure timely fulfillment of procurement requests.
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, and service quality to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Participate in supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable commercial terms, and long‑term value.
  • Support contract administration activities, including preparation of contract documentation and completion of Contract Routing Forms within agreed service levels.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, contracts, and pricing databases.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, aviation regulations, and applicable quality standards.
  • Assist in resolving supply chain issues, urgent aircraft‑on‑ground (AOG) requirements, and supplier‑related challenges when required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Aviation Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Aviation, engineering, maintenance, or technical procurement experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of procurement principles, supplier management, and contract administration.
  • Understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with ERP, procurement, or inventory management systems is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
