Job summary

RSTS in Oman seeks a security systems engineer to install, configure, and support VMS platforms including Genetec, Geutebrück, and Milestone, and to configure Lenel Access Control and related integrations.

You will integrate CCTV, access control, intercom, ANPR and other security systems, configure IP cameras, recording servers, storage, workstations, and operator clients, troubleshoot issues, perform health checks, maintenance, upgrades, backups, and support handover activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/IT/Networking or related engineering field.
• 3–5 years of experience in CCTV, VMS, and integrated security systems.
• Hands-on with Genetec Security Center, Geutebrück, Milestone XProtect, and Lenel OnGuard.
• Strong TCP/IP networking, VLANs, switches, routing, multicast, firewalls, and general network troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows Server, SQL databases, virtualization, and storage systems.
• Manufacturer certifications preferred (Genetec, Geutebrück, Milestone, Lenel, Cisco).
• Good English communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical reports, configuration records, network diagrams, and as-built documentation.
• Support commissioning, testing, FAT/SAT, and system handover activities.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer, IT, Network, Electronics, or related engineering field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CCTV, VMS, and integrated security systems.Hands-on experience with Genetec Security Center, Geutebrück, Milestone XProtect, and Lenel OnGuard.Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, switches, routing, multicast, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.Good knowledge of Windows Server, SQL databases, virtualization, and storage systems.Experience with enterprise CCTV systems and large-scale security networks is preferred.Manufacturer certifications in Genetec, Geutebrück, Milestone, Lenel, Cisco, or equivalent are highly preferred.Good English communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
