Job summary

Oman-based leading fish meal and oil manufacturer is seeking an experienced QA/QC professional to oversee laboratory testing, audits and traceability. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in seafood processing, regulatory compliance and food safety management systems.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of HACCP, GMP and ISO/FSSC 22000, plus practical experience with fish freezing technologies. Salary is accompanied by housing and meals in Oman.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in seafood processing / fish freezing.
• Working knowledge of FDA and EU seafood regulations.
• Proficiency in HACCP, GMP, and ISO/FSSC 22000 food safety and traceability systems.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in the seafood processing / fish freezing industry
• Working knowledge of FDA and EU seafood regulations
• Proficiency in HACCP, GMP, and ISO/FSSC 22000 food safety and traceability systems
• Practical experience with Blast Freezing, Plate Freezing, and IQF (Individual Quick Freezing)
• FDA & EU seafood regulations; HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000/ISO 22000; QA/QC, laboratory testing, audits, traceability
