Job summary

AMAN in Muscat seeks a Business Analyst to engage with clients, document and prioritize requirements, and translate business needs into functional specifications. You will map processes, analyze data, prepare reports and dashboards, and act as a liaison between business and technical teams.

You will support testing, implementation, and project delivery, conduct workshops, contribute to proposals and client-facing materials, and help drive process optimization and digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in business analysis, management consulting, project support or a related role.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, analysing processes and preparing reports and recommendations.
• Familiarity with process mapping, data analysis, user-acceptance testing and project documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience using business-analysis, data-visualization or project-management tools is an advantage.
• Professional certification in business analysis or project management, such as ECBA, CCBA or CAPM, is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a consultancy or client-facing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather, document and prioritize business requirements.
• Conduct interviews, surveys, workshops and process-review sessions to understand business needs and challenges.
• Analyse business processes, operational data and performance information to identify trends, gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare business-requirement documents, process maps, reports, dashboards and recommendations.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, process improvements and system specifications.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop practical business and digital solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation and service improvement.
• Prepare and deliver presentations communicating findings, recommendations and proposed solutions.
