Job summary

Deloitte Oman is seeking an experienced Audit & Assurance Manager to lead engagements and manage client expectations across the firm.

The role requires 6+ years in public accounting, IFRS knowledge, and professional qualifications such as CA/ACCA/CPA; bilingual Arabic/English is preferred to serve clients in the region. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams and drive quality in all audit processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of public accounting/audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
• Degree in accounting or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards; ability to gather appropriate evidence.
• CA/ACCA/CPA or international accounting qualification.
• Fluent in English; bilingual Arabic/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders and provide constructive challenge on engagement issues.
• Review documentation of transaction flows and tests of controls early in the audit cycle.
• Suggest mitigating testing when controls are found ineffective, coordinating with senior staff.
• Collaborate with specialists across the firm to add value on complex audits.
• Plan and manage group engagements, ensuring timely delivery and clear expectations.
