Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in public accounting or audit management.
• Degree in accounting or related field; international qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards; strong evidence gathering.
• Ability to develop knowledge of Deloitte tools and audit methods.
• Fluent English, bilingual Arabic/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds trust by focusing on stakeholder needs and providing constructive challenge.
• Reviews transactions and tests of controls early to guide audit approach.
• Suggests mitigating testing when controls are ineffective, with professional skepticism.
• Adds value by leveraging firm expertise and coordinating specialists.
• Participates in group risk assessment and sets expectations for component auditors.
• Maintains timely file checks, structure, and archiving for each engagement.
• Communicates project plans and dependencies with management at start and deadlines.
• Ensures testing results support management's assertions and are thoroughly documented.
