Job summary

Ceerus is seeking a Specialist for the Material & Vehicle Planning team in Al Buraymi Governorate, Oman. In this role, you will support the DSR (S&OP) process by managing planning inputs and executing what-if scenarios using SAP IBP. Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with supply planning are crucial.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience in supply planning or production planning, with additional SAP IBP certification preferred.

Job description

Job Purpose

As a Specialist (Material & Vehicle Planning team, Supply Chain) you are responsible to support the DSR (S&OP) process in SAP IBP (or alternative business planning systems) by managing planning inputs, executing what-if scenarios, and coordinating cross-functional scenario evaluation to enable an executable and aligned consensus plan.

Key Functional Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and maintain required planning inputs in IBP, including sales orders, manufacturing capacity, material availability, part‑level supply capacity, and premium freight‑related data.
• Ensure input completeness, data quality, correct planning horizon coverage and timely readiness for scenario generation.
• Execute what‑if scenario generation in SAP IBP using defined planning models, policies, priority rules, firming logic, and hard constraints.
• Run iterative simulations and analyze outcomes for service level, feasibility, delivery adherence, overloads, inventory impact, and premium freight exposure.
• Compare scenario alternatives, identify constraint hits and infeasible orders, and recommend the most practical scenario for business review.
• Coordinate scenario submission for cross‑functional review, capture feedback, requested changes, and impacted planning objects.
• Revise assumptions and re‑run scenarios until cross‑functional agreement is achieved.
• Maintain scenario version control, batch traceability, and structured documentation of decisions and changes.

Job Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in DSR (S&OP)/ supply planning / production planning.
• Hands‑on SAP IBP knowledge, strong analytical and data engineering skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• Additional certification in SAP IBP / SAP APO / APICS CPIM / CSCP is preferred.
