• Operate heavy-duty shovels (hydraulic excavators, draglines, etc.) with precision to excavate, load, and move large volumes of material efficiently.
• Perform pre-operation checks, including fluid levels, hydraulic systems, and safety equipment, to ensure optimal machine performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Safely maneuver heavy machinery on diverse and challenging terrain, maintaining awareness of surroundings, including ground conditions and other personnel.
• Accurately load trucks, hoppers, or conveyors, ensuring proper weight distribution and minimizing spillage to maintain site efficiency and safety.
