Job summary

Emmar Industries in Muscat, Oman seeks a Heavy Truck Driver to transport construction materials and equipment to project sites, operating vehicles safely and efficiently.

The driver will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensure cargo is loaded and secured, follow designated routes and schedules, and maintain records of deliveries, fuel usage, mileage and inspections.

Qualifications

• Operate heavy trucks safely to transport construction materials, steel structures, sandwich panels, equipment and tools to project sites.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle including brakes, tires, lights, fluids and safety equipment.
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured and transported in accordance with safety regulations.
• Follow designated routes and delivery schedules while complying with traffic laws and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel usage, mileage and vehicle inspections.
