Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Shisha Attendant for Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC. You will prepare, maintain, and serve shisha in outdoor areas, ensuring safety, hygiene, and guest satisfaction while coordinating with the F&B team.

The role requires at least 1 year of shisha experience in hospitality, strong guest-service skills, and English proficiency (Arabic a bonus). Training and uniforms are provided. A supportive, guest-focused environment awaits you.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of shisha preparation and service in a hotel, lounge, or café.
• Knowledge of shisha types, flavors, and safe handling procedures.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); Arabic is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shisha according to hotel standards, including cleaning, assembling, and filling with tobacco or herbal flavors.
• Ensure proper functioning of shisha pipes, hoses, and related equipment.
• Light and maintain coals safely, ensuring guest safety at all times.
• Serve shisha to guests promptly and professionally, providing guidance on usage if needed.
• Offer menu recommendations, including flavors, accessories, and beverages.
• Welcome guests and provide attentive, courteous service.
• Monitor guest comfort and satisfaction during their shisha experience.
• Address guest requests or complaints promptly and professionally.
