Job summary

Gender is seeking a senior procurement leader to drive strategic sourcing and planning across categories, with a focus on cost optimization and supplier performance. You will lead procurement planning, analyze spend and contracts, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and risk management.

You will interface with internal customers, manage market intelligence, and guide negotiations, while aligning procurement activities with business and financial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10-12 years of relevant experience.
• Oil and gas industry experience (upstream, downstream and commercial).
• Experience in Category Management, Cost Modelling and Contract Optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of category management and strategic sourcing strategies.
• Provide procurement planning aligned with organizational strategy and financial objectives.
• Support contract performance reviews and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Conduct spend analysis for major spend categories and implement cost-saving opportunities.
• Perform market intelligence and monitor trends to identify suppliers and disruptive technologies.
• Assess supply chain risks including geopolitical and logistical considerations.
• Support leadership strategic planning with procurement insights and recommendations.
• Liaise with internal customers to ensure stakeholder alignment.
