Job summary

SGS is seeking a Rotating Equipment Senior Manager in Oman to provide technical leadership and governance for rotating equipment engineering across the OLNG growth project. The role ensures process safety, asset integrity, and machinery reliability in all project phases, acting as Technical Authority for rotating equipment and governing EPC deliverables and vendors.

Qualifications

• Requires SME guidance in rotating equipment engineering and trouble‑shooting across projects.
• Mastery specialist skills on rotating equipment are desirable.
• Knowledge of load flow studies and protection relay concepts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and governance for Rotating Equipment engineering across the OLNG growth project.
• Ensure process safety, asset integrity and machinery reliability across all phases.
• Act as Technical Authority (TA 2) for Rotating Equipment and oversee EPC deliverables and vendors.
• Oversee interfaces with owners, EPC/EPCM, OEMs and operations to ensure OLNG standards compliance.
• Deliver executive‑level reporting and decision support; drive zero-incident objectives.
