Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 5-7 years experience in road excavation, backfilling, sub base, pavements, road furniture, utility works, riprap/gabion protection works, drainage channels etc.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for execution of road works at site as per drawings and schedule plan.
• Supervises works to ensure adherence to specification and quality.
• Assigns work to manpower and machinery, arranges materials as per daily plan.
• Prepares daily programs and tracks site progress.
• Conducts daily safety and QHSE meetings with workers to ensure productivity and cost control.
• Tracks records of site progress and reports daily.
• Interacts with Sr Engineer for clarifications on drawings.
• Measures performance of workers/equipment against company norms.
• Maintains safety standards at work locations.
