SYSTRA is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support procurement and tendering on a major rail/metro project in Oman. You will lead contract formation, negotiation, and finalization of tender and contract documents with cross‑functional teams.
Key requirements include 15+ years in contracts or commercial management, strong knowledge of FIDIC, and excellent English communication. This role demands rigorous risk assessment and comprehensive documentation across the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in contracts, procurement or commercial management.
- Experience with major infrastructure or transportation projects.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with risk allocation.
Responsibilities
- Lead contract formation activities for procurement and tender packages.
- Prepare, review, and finalize tender and contract documents.
- Support procurement strategy and selection of contract models.
- Draft and amend contractual terms, conditions, and special provisions.
- Provide input during tendering, clarification, evaluation, and award stages.
- Identify contractual risks and mitigation measures.
- Maintain complete records of contract documentation, approvals, and revisions.
