Job summary

Confidential Company in Oman seeks an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities across the project lifecycle. You will prepare cost estimates, budgets, and interim payment applications, while ensuring unit cost control and contract compliance.

You will manage variation orders, claims, final accounts, and maintain meticulous records. Collaboration with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers is essential to deliver cost-effective solutions and robust commercial

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 9–12 years of quantity surveying experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration, commercial management, and cost control.
  • Proven experience in preparing payment applications, variations, claims, and final accounts.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP/commercial management software.

  • Maintain accurate records of project costs, contracts, variations, claims, and payments.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers on all commercial and contractual matters.
  • Provide commercial support to the Project Manager, identify commercial risks, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
