Tawteen in Muscat is seeking an experienced QA/QC Supervisor to oversee NDT operations, develop and verify procedures, and ensure strict compliance with ASME, API, AWS and IACS codes for ship repairs.

The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary QA/QC team, coordinate with Project Managers, manage non-conformities, maintain records and ensure ISO audit readiness in a demanding marine environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI certification and NDT Level II; Level III preferred.
• Experience reading drawings and applying ASME/API/AWS/IACS codes.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee NDT operations and certify procedures and personnel.
• Develop and approve welding procedures and PQRs per IACS/ASME IX.
• Maintain QA/QC procedures and ensure ISO audits readiness.
• Lead and mentor QA QC team; assign daily tasks.
• Coordinate site inspections and report findings to QA QC leadership.
• Lead non-conformity management and ensure timely closures.
• Ensure data traceability and documentation across inspections.
• Manage testing equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Contribute to QMS improvement and HSE compliance.
• Liaise with internal/external stakeholders to ensure standards.
