Job summary

ZL Group, a global specialty chemicals company serving the oil and gas industry, seeks a Project Manager to lead polymer EOR injection projects across the GCC. The role covers design, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning and start-up, with a focus on HSE and client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 8–10+ years in project engineering or management in polymer EOR, chemical injection or oilfield projects, with mobility to travel to GCC sites.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of project engineering or project management experience in polymer EOR or related oil and gas projects.
• Experience delivering projects from award through design, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning and start-up.
• Proven track record of building and sustaining client relationships, including with GCC clients.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and project engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead project engineering from award through start-up for polymer EOR injection projects.
• Coordinate engineering partners, vendors and fabrication yards to meet client specifications and GCC industry requirements.
• Manage interfaces between polymer injection units (PIU), water treatment packages and site civil/utility works.
• Track project schedule, cost and technical risk; resolve issues and escalate when needed.
• Demonstrate visible commitment to HSE and promote a strong HSE culture among project teams, contractors and vendors.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and project engineers through coaching and on-the-job guidance.
