Job summary

COMPANY is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Studies & Delivery to support the Technical Studies Lead in FEL lifecycle execution. You will coordinate study workstreams, manage multi-discipline inputs, and ensure consultant deliverables meet quality and schedule requirements.

You will liaise with study consultants, review technical outputs, maintain registers and risk records, and assist in value engineering and cost estimation activities to support Gate reviews and FEED progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining, Process, Metallurgical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• PMP or equivalent project management qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in mining or industrial project development, with FEL study phases.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline inputs across geology, mining, metallurgy, process engineering, and infrastructure.
• Experience reviewing consultant deliverables and identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and deficiencies.
• Familiarity with AACEI cost estimation classifications and their application to study-phase cost estimates.
• Working knowledge of JORC Code and NI 43-101 reporting standards.
• Experience preparing and maintaining study schedules, deliverable registers, budgets, and risk registers.
• Familiarity with Stage-Gate governance frameworks and FEL lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate study workstreams across FEL phases and ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Maintain study workstream schedules, registers, action logs, and milestone trackers with regular status updates.
• Coordinate collection and review of inputs from consultants and internal functions at study milestones.
• Serve as day-to-day interface with study consultants, ensuring deliverable quality and adherence to terms of reference.
• Prepare study progress reports, budget tracking, risk registers, and cost estimates for gate reviews.
• Support value engineering and technical-economic trade-off analyses across study phases.
