Job summary

Uasmart is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead project planning for an Oil & Gas EPC and construction group in Muscat, Oman. The role requires 15-20 years of proven experience in heavy construction, with strong Primavera P6 expertise.

You will develop Level 3/4 schedules, monitor progress, analyze critical paths, and coordinate across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC and HSE to manage milestones and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15-20 years of proven experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, heavy construction.
• Advanced hands-on proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Strong knowledge of critical path analysis and schedule risk.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Level 3 and Level 4 project schedules.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules and monitor project progress.
• Track project performance and conduct critical path analysis.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, and HSE teams.
• Lead schedule risk assessments and recovery planning.
• Support Extension of Time (EOT) claims and contractual schedule analysis.
• Prepare executive-level project progress reports.
