Qualifications

• BSc in Mining Engineering must be held.
• Minimum seven years of open pit mine production/planning experience.
• Experience in managing a mining department and leading teams.
• Proficient with HSE practices and safety standards.
• Familiar with the latest mining software tools such as Deswik/Datamine/Surpac/Micromine.
• Strong drilling and blasting knowledge and geotechnical awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and rollout efficient mining plans, schedules, and excavate/dump designs.
• Provide designs and schedules to support drilling, blasting, and mine production plans.
• Coordinate long- and short-term mine planning for open pit operations.
• Prepare and review schedules, layouts, and production plans for approvals.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, and monthly progress against plans.
• Collaborate with Geology, Survey, and Operations to optimize grade control and minimize dilution.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations and company policies.
• Support cost optimization and engineering studies with data and insights.
