Job summary

Dynamic Consultants Group (DCG) in Muscat seeks a Senior Microsoft Technical Consultant to join our Microsoft practice. You will work across Dynamics 365, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform, shaping solutions and engaging in executive and technical meetings with clients.

The role requires 5–8 years in Microsoft consulting or related delivery roles, with strong architecture and pre-sales capabilities. Ability to travel regionally and work hybrid or on-site in Muscat is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Microsoft consulting, technical advisory, or related delivery roles (Microsoft Partner / SI environment preferred).
• Broad, credible knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Dynamics 365, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Ability to operate effectively in client meetings, workshops, and pre-sales situations.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales and RFP support: Collaborate with sales and account teams to shape technical responses, support demos, define solution approaches, and contribute to proposals and statements of work.
• Solution architecture and design: Lead or co-lead high-level technical design of Microsoft solutions. Translate business requirements into architectures spanning Dynamics 365, Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and related services; produce diagrams and trade-off discussions.
• Client workshops and advisory: Facilitate discovery workshops, present recommendations, and act as a trusted technical advisor in client meetings; communicate complex topics clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
• Hands-on contribution and delivery support: Contribute to configuration, solution design validation, or limited implementation work; provide guidance to delivery teams and ensure alignment with best practices.
• Stay current with the Microsoft roadmap and apply relevant capabilities to client scenarios.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Technical Consultant to join our Microsoft practice in Muscat. This is a client-facing role for someone who has spent several years in consulting and can operate credibly across the Microsoft ecosystem—from Dynamics 365 and business applications through the Azure stack, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform.

You will not be expected to be a deep-dive specialist in every product, but you must be technically credible in architecture discussions, workshops, and executive or technical meetings. You will support pre-sales, shape solutions, advise clients, and contribute to delivery as needed. Strong preference is given to Omani nationals.

Key Responsibilities

In priority order:

• Pre-sales and RFP support: Collaborate with sales and account teams to shape technical responses, support demos, define solution approaches, and contribute to proposals and statements of work.
• Solution architecture and design: Lead or co-lead high-level technical design of Microsoft solutions. • Stay current with the Microsoft roadmap (including Copilot, Fabric, security/identity, and platform updates) and apply relevant capabilities to client scenarios.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing where appropriate.

Requirements

• Omani National Required.
• 5–8 years of experience in Microsoft consulting, technical advisory, or related delivery roles (Microsoft Partner / SI environment preferred).
• Broad, credible knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Dynamics 365 (any major modules), Azure services and architecture concepts, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform. Depth is not required in every area, but you must be able to discuss architecture and trade-offs confidently.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in client meetings, workshops, and pre-sales situations.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work hybrid or on‑site in Muscat, with occasional client travel within Oman or the region.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Dynamics-related, Power Platform, or security/identity) or willingness to pursue them.
• Experience with solution selling, RFP responses, or technical pre-sales.
• Exposure to security, identity (Entra ID), data/AI (Fabric, Copilot), or integration patterns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
