Job summary

OQ is seeking an experienced TSD professional for Mechanical Rotating Engineering Services. You will provide expert support on rotating equipment, review engineering deliverables, and lead cost assessments for capital projects and turnarounds.

The role requires 6–8 years in Oil & Gas, strong troubleshooting, and excellent English communication. Collaboration with procurement and maintenance teams is essential for safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6–8 years of relevant Oil & Gas / Refinery experience.
• Experience with rotating equipment and troubleshooting.
• Excellent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Provide SME support for mechanical rotating equipment issues.
• Review design packages, specs, calculations, and reports.
• Lead cost estimates and reviews for capital investments.
• Support major capital projects and turnarounds.
• Coordinate with procurement for equipment quality and cost.
• Assist in risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE and asset management standards.
• Support performance improvement of rotating equipment.
