Job summary

aljeel medical in Oman is seeking a Local Procurement Specialist to oversee end-to-end procurement for locally sourced goods and services, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to company policies. You will focus on supplier sourcing, negotiations, PO management, and supplier performance monitoring to sustain supply continuity and value creation.

The role requires hands-on RFQ execution, supplier evaluation, and experience with ERP procurement modules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in procurement or sourcing, preferably with local supplier markets and healthcare environments.
• Hands-on experience RFQs and negotiating price and payment terms.
• Working knowledge of ERP procurement modules (requisition, purchase order, three-way match).

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement lifecycle from sourcing to purchase orders and supplier performance management.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers based on quality, service, cost and business needs.
• Conduct RFQs, competitive bidding, and supplier evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier records and monitor performance against SLAs.
