Job Overview

An urgent recruitment opportunity is available for an experienced Senior IT Engineer - Network & Security to support a project in Oman. The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of relevant experience in network and security infrastructure management, with strong expertise in Fortinet security infrastructure, enterprise network security, and firewall administration.

The position focuses on managing network security systems, firewall technologies, VPN connectivity, wireless security, and security monitoring. The contract duration is two years, making this opportunity suitable for experienced IT professionals with strong technical knowledge of enterprise security infrastructure and network compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage FortiGate firewalls and enterprise firewall infrastructure.
• Work with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer for centralized firewall management and security analysis.
• Configure and support Site-to-Site VPN and SSL VPN connectivity.
• Implement and support Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions.
• Manage Fortinet wireless access points and wireless network security.
• Support WPA2/WPA3 security protocols and 802.1X authentication.
• Monitor network security events and support security incident analysis.
• Maintain network security compliance and follow established security procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Knowledge of security monitoring and network security compliance.
• Fortinet NSE4, NSE6, or NSE7 certifications are preferred.
