Job summary

Gender is seeking a Senior Instrument role (SR2) in Oman–Suhar. The holder will lead instrument maintenance activities, coordinate a multi-skilled team, and drive reliability across the assets in scope. Strong hands-on leadership, SAP-PM usage, and CMMS proficiency are essential.

The role reports to the Head of Assets Management and interacts with maintenance and operations groups. The position emphasizes planning, problem solving, and delivering safe, compliant maintenance with emphasis on cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Instrument/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent command of English; Arabic knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead instrument maintenance works for SR2 and related operations.
• Coordinate and supervise instrument maintenance plans and staff/contractors.
• Ensure plant equipment availability and optimize cost/resources.
• Issue Work Permits on Instrument side and enforce LOTO procedures.
• Develop and implement training programs for engineers and technicians.
• Maintain expertise in process instrumentation and safety standards.
