Job summary

OQ8 Oman Refinery seeks a Team Leader, Instrument to lead the instrument maintenance team at the Duqm site, ensuring asset reliability and safe execution of planned and unplanned maintenance activities. You will oversee DCS/PLC systems, ESD, and field instrumentation while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor in Instrumentation Engineering with 10+ years in instrument maintenance, including 4+ years in team leadership in oil & gas or refinery

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology/Engineering in Instrumentation or similar field.
• Minimum 10 years in instrument maintenance services; 4+ years in a Team Leader role (oil & gas/refinery preferred).
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead instrument maintenance and calibration teams.
• Ensure availability of instrumentation, analyzers and controls systems.
• Oversee PM/CM activities and contractor coordination.
• Maintain safety and process safety knowledge in operations.
