Job summary

Gender in Oman Suhar is seeking an experienced Engineer I&C for Central Assets Management. You will design, analyze, implement, and maintain control systems to regulate and optimize RPI processes, ensuring ESD and DCS availability while supporting new automation projects.

The role requires 8+ years in control systems within refinery/petrochemical contexts, strong teamwork, and the ability to guide junior engineers. English proficiency is essential; Arabic is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in instrumentation/related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in control systems for refinery/petrochemical environments.
• English language proficiency; Arabic desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, implement, and maintain control systems for RPI assets.
• Ensure availability of ESD, DCS, and PLC loops; promote process safety initiatives.
• Support maintenance and upgrades for automation projects; troubleshoot/repair control system equipment.
• Interact with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Safety and external contractors.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and identify improvement opportunities.
