Job summary

TASC Outsourcing in Oman seeks a seasoned HSE Manager for a utility-scale power/renewable energy project. This senior, hands-on leadership role covers site oversight, independent auditing, and serious incident investigation on large-scale power generation projects.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years HSE experience, with 8+ years as Senior HSE Manager/Consultant, NEBOSH Diploma, and ISO 45001/ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification, to drive compliance across contractors and subcontractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, HSE, or related field.
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification.
15+ years total HSE experience, including 8+ years as Senior HSE Manager/Consultant on utility-scale projects.
10+ years incident investigation experience; capable of leading Serious Incident investigations.
Proven HSE audit/oversight on 2+ renewable energy or Power IPP projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all HSE functions across a utility-scale site.
Conduct independent HSE audits in line with ISO 45001 / ISO 14001.
Lead Serious Incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
Drive HSE compliance, risk assessment, and safety culture across contractors.
Report to senior leadership/client on HSE performance, audit findings, and corrective actions.
Mentor and oversee site HSE teams and ensure regulatory compliance.
