Job summary

Foreground Consultancy, in partnership with a leading oilfield services provider in Oman, is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to oversee safety protocols across drilling and field operations.

You will develop and implement HSE management systems aligned with international standards, conduct risk assessments, lead training, ensure compliance with Omani and international regulations, and investigate incidents to drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering or related discipline; NEBOSH/IOSH certification required.
• 10+ years of HSE management in oilfield services or drilling.
• Proven leadership in high-risk environments; knowledge of ISO and OHSAS standards; English required, Arabic an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE management systems aligned with international standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analysis, and emergency response planning.
• Lead safety training programs across drilling and operational teams.
• Monitor compliance with Omani and international HSE regulations.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and industry bodies.
