Job summary

PTD-Power Transmission & Distribution - IC in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Hardware and Network Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on experience to design, implement, and manage hardware and network infrastructure end-to-end. The role requires deep knowledge of enterprise networking, including LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall and security systems, plus expertise with Windows/Linux servers, AD, DNS, and virtualization.

You will collaborate with global teams to ensure high availability and compliance with ITIL

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; CCNA/CCNP preferred.
Strong knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco/Fortinet/Palo Alto).
Experience with Windows/Linux, AD, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
Familiar with network monitoring tools and ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain hardware systems (desktops, servers, peripherals).
Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
Monitor performance, ensure high availability, and tune networks.
Manage network security: firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption.
Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle.
Coordinate procurement and vendor support.
Install and maintain server OS (Windows/Linux).
Document configurations and procedures.
Provide remote system access to teams worldwide.
