Job summary

Case in Point Consulting seeks an experienced FP&A Associate for a 6-month on-site engagement in Muscat, Oman. The role focuses on embedding robust FP&A processes, improving monthly reporting, and strengthening debt management and working capital optimization across subsidiaries.

The assignment targets 6–10 years in FP&A or strategic finance, with IFRS knowledge and experience in debt refinancing and lender negotiations. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• 6–10 years of FP&A, strategic finance, or business planning experience.
• Experience supporting strategic financial planning, capital investment evaluation, and M&A.
• Experience managing financial accounts, budgets, forecasts, and working capital.
• Ability to support debt refinancing, restructuring and lender negotiations.
• Experience with cash flow management, forecasting, and liquidity stress testing.
• Ability to generate/manage management reports, dashboards, KPIs, and ratios.
• Industry knowledge in relevant sectors (e.g. manufacturing, FMCG).
• Skilled in building 3-statement financial models and scenario analyses.
• Understanding of IFRS principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial diagnostics and stabilize budgeting and planning.
• Review MIS structure and align chart of accounts with group reporting standards.
• Launch 13-week cash flow forecasting and establish liquidity governance.
• Develop a robust Annual Business Plan aligned with group strategy.
• Lead debt servicing calendars and lender communications.
• Create control dashboards for KPIs and operational metrics.
• Lead restructuring scenarios including debt refinancing options.
• Develop SOPs, process maps, and transition materials for FP&A.
• Monitor reforms with dashboards and ensure post-transition adherence.
• Deliver Monthly MIS reports, rolling forecasts, and working capital improvement plans.
