Job summary

Director & Co, an Oman-based services company, seeks an experienced FP&A Cost Analyst to oversee site costing, budgeting, and contract profitability across multiple units. You will work with operations and finance to strengthen cost controls and provide insights for decision making.

The role requires strong Excel and Power BI abilities, familiarity with Oracle/SAP ERP systems, and English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage. GCC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Professional accounting qualification (CMA/CIMA/ACMA, ACCA or CA).
• 6–10 years in Cost/Management FP&A roles.
• At least 3 years site or contract costing in facilities/catering/camp management or accommodation services.
• GCC experience preferred.

FP&A COST ANALYST - Facilities Management, Catering & Camp Management - Muscat, Oman

Job Overview: Our client which is an Oman-based services company providing integrated facilities management, catering, camp management and other support services to clients across key industries is seeking an experienced FP&A Cost Analyst to oversee site costing, financial planning, budgeting, and contract profitability across multiple business units. The role will work closely with operations and finance teams to strengthen cost controls, improve margins, and provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage site-level costing, P&L reporting, and profitability analysis across business units.
• Monitor operational expenses, identify cost variances, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reviews.
• Review tender costing, contract pricing, breakeven analysis, and profit margins.
• Support Area Managers and BU Coordinators with financial reporting and month-end controls.
• Prepare management reports and financial dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
• Conduct site visits to identify cost inefficiencies and improve operational profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• CMA, CIMA/ACMA, ACCA, or CA qualification (part-qualified candidates may also apply).
• 6-10 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, or FP&A.
• Minimum 3 years of site or contract costing experience in Facilities Management, Catering, Camp Management, or Accommodation Services.
• GCC experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel and working knowledge of Power BI.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
