Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of refinery operations experience, with at least 10 years in FCC operations and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of FCC processes, equipment, and systems including regenerator operations and catalyst management.
• Expertise in FCC troubleshooting and issues like afterburn, catalyst circulation, and product quality deviations.
• Proficiency in process simulation software specific to FCC modeling (Aspen HYSYS, KBC Petro-SIM).
• Strong refinery economics understanding and ability to impact profitability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive performance reviews of FCC units, analyzing KPIs related to yield, operability, profitability, reliability, and process safety.
• Lead benchmarking and best practices exchanges among Global Manufacturing facilities.
• Provide hands-on technical support for performance improvement initiatives with measurable results.
• Deliver remote and field technical advisory support for FCC upgrades and revamps.
• Coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical teams to optimize FCC equipment performance.
• Prepare and update technical documentation and reports for FCC engineering and operation.
• Support capital investment decision-making with technical input for FCC facilities.
