Job summary
Saudi Aramco seeks an experienced Corrosion Engineer to join the Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME) organization under the Downstream Reliability Solutions Department (RSD). You will provide technical support in corrosion management, deploy new technologies, and drive value-driven programs across the downstream portfolio.
The role requires deep expertise in corrosion engineering, integrity reviews, and risk-based inspection methodologies, with English fluency and a strong background in
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in corrosion management within downstream oil and gas.
- Knowledge of API, ASME, NACE, ASTM standards for corrosion and inspection.
- Proven ability to lead technical studies and risk-based inspections.
- Fluent English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities
- Conduct corrosion management assessments and studies, identifying issues and recommending mitigations.
- Develop and manage the GME strategic value-driven programs roadmap.
- Deploy technologies related to corrosion management across the global portfolio.
- Support corrosion-related failure investigations and disseminate lessons learned.
- Provide consultancy to facilities on corrosion management during design, operations and maintenance.
- Review operating parameters and modify procedures to control corrosion issues.
