Job summary

Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) seeks an experienced F-16 Advanced Systems Instructor for Thumrait, Oman. The role covers theoretical classroom instruction and on-aircraft practice, concentrating on F-16 systems, avionics, and advanced troubleshooting to return aircraft to serviceable condition.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years on F-16 and verified instructor experience, with preferred A&P certification or aviation degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years on F-16 Block 50
• 5+ years as a Maintenance Instructor or FTD instructor
• A&P certification or aviation degree preferred but not required
• Airframe & Powerplant certification preferred or equivalent (not required)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Instruct theory and on-aircraft operations focused on advanced avionics and wire repair
• Develop and create courses to achieve benchmark objectives for RAFO technicians
• Teach F-16 familiarization, safety, TO/documentation courses as needed
• Load courses on tablets/whiteboards and create CBTs or PDFs for testing
