Job summary

Imi Ksa is seeking a Senior Electrical Inspector for our Ras Al Khair site to collaborate with inspection contractors, assess electrical installations, and certify equipment compliance with international standards.

The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of electrical systems, provides recommendations for corrective actions, and contributes to codes and guidelines updates. Placement is on site with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of experience in related field.
• Certified Electrical Inspector Certification Program is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-inspection planning; read blueprints and electrical schedules to ensure safety and code compliance.
• Coordinate electrical inspection contractors during inspections (functional, safety, periodic, compliance, initial installation).
• Interpret inspection reports and address discrepancies to approve results.
• Conduct electrical inspections on new and existing installations, ensuring codes and standards compliance.
• Write detailed asset inspection reports and recommend corrective actions for non‑compliant or unsafe installations.
• Provide technical advice on electrical installation matters to engineers, contractors, and inspectors.
• Participate in development and updating of codes, standards, and guidelines.
• Contribute to field inspections and provide inputs for periodic assessment and certification schedules.
• Ensure implementation of inspection strategies, procedures, standards, and plans; feedback to Asset Inspection Manager on failures or amendments.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for Asset Inspection scope to track and manage inspections without delays or extra costs.
• Review and improve equipment performance against KPIs based on preventive maintenance and inspection routines.
