Job summary

Masakien Al Amna seeks an experienced Electrical QA/QC professional to implement robust QA/QC procedures for electrical works, review ITPs and method statements, and coordinate inspections with site teams and clients.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical QA/QC, strong documentation skills, and familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards. GCC experience is a plus, with a 2-year contract and standard benefits in Oman.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / EEE is required.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical QA/QC.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience with ITP, Method Statements, NCR, MIR, WIR, inspection checklists, and quality reports.
• Substation / Switchyard project experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures for electrical works per project specs and standards.
• Prepare and review ITPs, Method Statements, checklists, and QC procedures.
• Conduct inspections of electrical installation and construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, codes and standards.
• Inspect electrical equipment, cables, termination, earthing, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients for inspections and approvals.
• Prepare and maintain QA documentation, inspection and test reports, and project quality records.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective/preventive actions.
• Raise and close NCRs, observations and punch points as required.
• Monitor material inspections and ensure conformity to specs.
• Participate in testing and commissioning inspections of electrical systems.
• Ensure ISO 9001:2015 quality management requirements are properly implemented.
• Support internal quality audits and maintain audit-related documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor quality performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with project team to ensure timely completion of inspection and quality requirements.
