Job summary

Rawafid Industrial is seeking an experienced Concrete Structure Design Engineer to lead structural activities for water, wastewater, and industrial projects. The role focuses on developing detailed designs, calculations, specs, drawings, and BOQs while ensuring compliance with codes and client standards.

The candidate will prepare calculations and reports, guide drafting/BIM teams, and support project planning and delivery with strong knowledge of SBC, ACI, ASTM, AWWA, and NWC specs.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform detailed structural design calculations for concrete and steel structures.
• Experience delivering QA/QC on engineering deliverables.
• Strong capability to coordinate across interdisciplinary teams and with clients.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards (SBC, ACI, ASTM, AWWA, NWC).
• Ability to develop technical documentation, BOQs, and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural design calculations based on field data and codes.
• Prepare and review structural design reports per standards.
• Develop and review BOQs and cost estimates.
• Create, review, and coordinate engineering drawings and specifications.
• Guide draftsmen and BIM/modeling teams for tender/design drawings.
• Perform structural calculations, load assessments, and capacity checks.
