Job summary

Tawteen in Muscat, Oman, seeks a Senior Buy-Side Financial Analyst to drive investment performance across equities and fixed income. Reporting to the Fund Manager, you will lead deep fundamental and quantitative research, build complex models, and prepare buy/hold/sell recommendations to outperform benchmarks.

The role requires 5+ years of buy-side or related experience and GCC/MENA coverage, with strong Bloomberg/FactSet proficiency and active engagement with management teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of buy-side or sell-side investment analysis experience.
• Experience covering GCC/MENA equities and/or fixed income.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills with ability to synthesize data into investment theses.
• Proficiency with major analytics platforms (Bloomberg/FactSet/Capital IQ).

Responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous bottom-up fundamental and credit analysis on issuers in Omani MSX and GCC markets.
• Build, maintain, and stress-test three-statement financial models and related valuations.
• Formulate high-conviction buy/hold/sell ideas to generate alpha for benchmark outperformance.
• Analyze macro trends and policy shifts to identify sector rotations and portfolio opportunities.
• Monitor fund holdings and perform attribution to inform rebalancing decisions.
• Prepare investment notes and present ideas to the Investment Committee.
• Engage with issuers through earnings calls and management meetings.
