The successful candidate will guide investment strategies, identify growth opportunities, and deliver executive-level reports and recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in investment management or related fields.
• Proven track record leading BD, research and portfolio management.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation expertise.
• Excellent communication and leadership for senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg experience preferable.

This role leads strategic business development, investment research, and portfolio management initiatives within a dynamic investment environment. The successful candidate will drive investment strategies, oversee portfolio performance, identify growth opportunities, and lead a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Business Development & Research function and provide strategic direction.
• Oversee investment research, financial modelling, and equity valuation activities.
• Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Investment Management, or related discipline (Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage).
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in investment management, corporate finance, private equity, sovereign wealth funds, asset management, or strategic investment.
• Proven experience leading business development, investment research, and portfolio management functions.
• Strong expertise in financial modelling, investment analysis, company valuation, and portfolio performance management.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to identify and evaluate investment opportunities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Bloomberg or similar financial platforms is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
