Turn a national platform's raw data into the dashboards and metrics leaders actually decide on, through a clean semantic layer and self service analytics.

We are hiring a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, on site in Muscat, to turn platform data into the analytics leaders run on.

What you'll do

Build the semantic models, dashboards, and reports that make a national platform's data usable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build the semantic layer and data models that turn raw platform data into trusted, reusable metrics
• Develop dashboards, reports, and self service analytics that leaders and government entities actually use to decide
• Build operational and real time analytics on top of the lakehouse and warehouse
• Define a single source of truth for key metrics, with clear definitions, lineage, and governance
• Optimize queries, models, and extracts for performance at national data volumes
• Embed analytics into the platform's applications and citizen and entity portals
• Partner with data engineering and the data architect on the pipelines and models behind the numbers
• Set BI standards, reusable templates, and visualization patterns, and mentor analysts

• You think in semantic layers and dimensional models, not one off reports
• You command SQL and at least one major BI and visualization platform, and you tune for performance
• You design dashboards people understand at a glance, and you retire vanity metrics
• You care about a single source of truth: consistent definitions, lineage, and governance
• You hold a Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
• You translate messy business questions into clear, trustworthy metrics
• Bonus points for embedded analytics, real time dashboards, or government and enterprise reporting
• Fluent English required; Arabic is a valuable advantage
