Job summary

Deloitte Oman is seeking a Senior in Audit & Assurance to demonstrate and develop capabilities across governance, risk management, and audit procedures. You will liaise with stakeholders, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality deliverables while navigating regulatory environments.

Strong English communication and international qualifications are prioritized. The role emphasizes building relationships beyond finance, understanding entity operations, and maintaining professional skepticism

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or related field. Graduate degree is desired.
• 4+ years of experience in public auditing and accounting, preferably with Big Audit Firms.
• Demonstrate ability to plan and manage engagements and people along with ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.
• International accounting qualification is desired: CA, ACCA, or CPA. Preferably CA.
• Fluent in English (Reading, Speaking and Writing). Preference will be given to bilingual candidates (Arabic/English).

Responsibilities

• Builds trust and credibility with stakeholders by understanding service level expectations and what matters to them.
• Delivers high quality services by understanding regulation and risk management impacts on processes and controls.
• Understands key statistics and industry matters about entity before engagement begins.
• Links risks, controls, procedures and findings across the EMS file in a timely manner.
• Develops relationships beyond the finance function to apply professional skepticism.
