Job summary

AMOUAGE in Muscat seeks a Senior Associate Payroll to manage end-to-end payroll processing for Oman and the UAE and to support the transition to our Darwinbox system. You will work closely with HR Operations, Finance, and the Compensation & Benefits team to ensure accurate, timely payroll and data integrity across both countries.

You will participate in data migration, testing, and go-live activities, maintaining confidentiality and complying with local regulations while supporting bank file

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on GCC payroll processing experience.
• Familiarity with Oman and UAE payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Darwinbox payroll is strongly preferred.
• Ability to follow up with HR Ops and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end monthly payroll processing for Oman and UAE.
• Collaborate with HR Operations to collect input data before cut-off.
• Maintain records of payroll variables across both countries.
• Prepare and submit monthly payroll files on time.
• Upload bank payment files for salary disbursement and journal vouchers.

Are you ready to ensure accurate, seamless payroll operations across Oman and the UAE?

We are looking for a Senior Associate Payroll to manage end-to-end payroll processing while supporting the transition to our new HR and payroll system, Darwinbox.

Your Mission

Working closely with HR Operations, Finance, and the Compensation & Benefits team, you will manage monthly payroll cycles, reconciliations, payments, and payroll data across both countries. You will also play a key role in the Darwinbox implementation, supporting data migration, testing, process validation, and the transition to go-live — ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely execution at every stage.

Your Impact

Payroll Operations

• Own end-to-end monthly payroll processing for Oman and UAE
• Liaise with HR Operations to collect all input data — new joiner salaries, deductions, and changes — ahead of each cutoff
• Maintain accurate records of all payroll variables across both countries
• Prepare and submit the monthly payroll file accurately and on time
• Prepare and upload bank payment files for salary disbursement
• Upload journal vouchers into the finance system˚meriod between the two systems
• Support configuration, data integrity checks and process validation ahead of go live.

Confidentiality & Data Integrity

• Handle all payroll and employee data with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
• Ensure salary, deduction, and personal data is accessed, stored, and shared only in line with company policy and applicable data protection requirements
• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times given the sensitive nature of payroll information.

Your Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands on payroll processing experience — GCC payroll experience is essential
• Familiarity with Oman and UAE payroll regulations and compliance requirements
• Demonstrates integrity and discretion when handling sensitive employee information
• High attention to detail — accuracy is non negotiable in this role
• Experience with Darwinbox payroll is strongly preferred
• Experience with payroll system migrations or implementations is a strong advantage
• Proactive communicator — able to follow up with HR Ops and flag risks early
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines across multiple payroll cycles simultaneously
• Systems savvy — picks up new platforms quickly and goes deep.
