Mason position in Nizwa, Oman, with responsibilities to construct and repair structures using brick, concrete blocks and stones. You will mix and apply mortar, lay bricks, and ensure structural integrity according to plans. Proficiency with hand tools and physical fitness are required.

Requirements include at least three years of Mason experience, ability to read blueprints, and attention to detail. Accommodation and visa support are provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mason (minimum 3 years).
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.
• Proficient in using hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, etc.
• Physically fit to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Mix and apply mortar to bind bricks or other materials.
• Lay bricks or blocks according to blueprints or plans.
• Construct corners with a corner pole or by building up an interlocking pattern of bricks.
• Check vertical and horizontal alignment of structures using plumb bob or spirit level.
• Cut or trim bricks using hammers, chisels or power tools.
• Use trowels and other hand tools to spread and smooth mortar between joints.
• Set stone in place with mortar and finish joints between stones using a pointing trowel.
